Using its shape-memory biocompatible polymer, Embolization, Inc.’s devices achieve better vascular occlusion, while minimizing artifacts in CT and MRI imaging that occurs with traditional metal devices. In recent animal studies, shorter occlusion times and tighter coil packs were achieved. With fewer devices per procedure, lower recanalization rates and lower manufacturing costs, our proprietary polymer solutions will substantially replace existing metal options.
